As you may already know, our class is collecting items for a 'Gardener's Delight' basket to be auctioned off at the upcoming Nellie McClung P.S. Fun Fair on Thursday, June 6th. This morning, we brainstormed ideas for items that might be good for our Gardener's Delight basket. Here are our ideas:
- garden statues ... e.g., gnomes, scarecrow, turtles, etc.
- planters and flower pots
- bird feeders and birdseed
- flower bulbs and seeds (flowers and vegetables)
- garden tools
- garden gloves
- buckets
- soil, compost
- kneeling pads
- small garden toys ... e.g., water balloons, train, windmills, golf set, etc.
- garden rocks
- stepping stones
- watering can
- hose
- sprinkler
- hose nozzle
- sunhats
- sunscreen
- vase
